1. Mr CB Bhave has taken the charge as a chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) from M. Damodaran for a period of three years.
2. Mr CB Bhave has held a number of prestigious appointments to his credit namely as the CMD of the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).
3. Bhave has been instrumental in the creation of the National Stock Exchange and the depositary trade.
4. He has 16 years of experience in the capital market and has played a crucial role in promoting online trading and has revolutionised Indian stock market.
5. Hope he is able to perform the justice to the appointment and we all wish him best of luck as the head which wears the crown never sleeps.
