Market will be choppy as the inflation figure will be awaited with baited breath. It will be important for the Sensex to close above 17400.

Sensex Resistance 17397-17536-17607-17863. Support 17194-17061-16978.

Nifty Resistance 5250-5295-5329. Support 5145-5084-5055.

1. Recap: Reliance did not reach the entry price, however the stock can be kept under watch and one can enter in the stock as per the recommendation given earlier and the same is repeated at the bottom. TV Today gave a profit of Rs 240, RPL gave a profit of RS 250 and NTPC gave a profit of Rs 300.

2. NSE and BSE direction: Presently Nifty is in uptrend and one can see it touching the levels of 5400 and if the same is sustained one may see it achieving the levels of 5500. One can be optimistic on Nifty direction as breakout has taken from the wedge formation. Sensex has to keep above 17020 levels to see it touching the levels of 18300.
